This policy brief was developed through a collaboration between Pusat Riset Perubahan Iklim Universitas Indonesia (RCCC UI) and Yayasan Visi Indonesia Raya Emisi Nol Bersih (ViriyaENB).
It highlights the urgent need to improve fuel quality standards in Indonesia as a strategic investment in public health and economic efficiency. Focusing on three major cities—Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya—the brief provides evidence-based projections on the health and financial impacts of implementing EURO 4 fuel standards.
