This report presents an analysis of the potential health and economic benefits of implementing higher fuel quality standards in Indonesia, with a focus on the transition to EURO 4. Developed through a joint effort by the Research Center for Climate Change Universitas Indonesia (RCCC UI) and Yayasan Visi Indonesia Raya Emisi Nol Bersih (ViriyaENB), the report draws on cross-sectoral data and predictive modeling from three major cities, Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya. It aims to support evidence-based policymaking by quantifying the reduction in disease burden and treatment costs associated with improved air quality through cleaner fuels.
