Prof. Budi Haryanto participated in the Regional Policy Workshop on Tackling the Health Impacts of Haze Pollution in Southeast Asia and Australia, held on 17 June 2025 in Bangkok. The event, co-hosted by the HEAL National Research Network at the University of Canberra and Mahidol University, brought together experts from across ASEAN and Australia to discuss policy solutions and community-based responses to haze and wildfire smoke. Prof. Budi contributed insights from Indonesia’s experience in air pollution and public health, reinforcing the importance of regional collaboration in addressing the transboundary nature of haze and its health impacts.
