Sifa Fauzia, S.K.M., M.K.M.
Sifa Fauzia is a junior lecturer at the Department of Environmental Health and an active researcher at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Public Health at Universitas Indonesia. Sifa holds a Master’s degree in Public Health (Environmental Health) and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the same university.
Her research focuses on environmental health risk assessment, public health policy, and urban environmental quality. She has contributed to multiple national studies addressing the health effects of environmental exposures, including the development of the National Roadmap for Indoor Air Quality, technical guidelines for medical waste management, and environmental health assessments across Indonesia.
In the field of air pollution, she has participated in research related to PM2.5 exposure and lung function impairment, environmental risk factors associated with acute respiratory infections, and indoor air pollutants. Her work supports evidence-based policymaking in collaboration with national ministries, including the Ministry of Health and Bappenas.
Sifa is also a co-author of several peer-reviewed publications on air quality, waste management, and community health resilience. Her multidisciplinary skill set includes spatial analysis, health surveillance systems, and statistical modeling for environmental exposure research.
