Lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health (Environmental Epidemiology)

Prof. Budi Haryanto received his Ph.D. in epidemiology from the Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia. He also holds two master's degrees in Environmental Health and Epidemiology, one from the University of Indonesia and the other from the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, he holds two bachelor's degrees in Environmental Health and Sanitation Technology.

Prof. Budi Haryanto, MSPH, MSc, is an Associate Professor and former chair of the Department of Environmental Health – Faculty of Public Health and Head of Research Division of the Research Center for Climate Change, University of Indonesia. Prof. Haryanto has participated in numerous studies in environmental epidemiology. In addition to research on health effects in children of air pollution, including lead, PM 2.5, nano-particles, and biological exposures. Prof. Budi Haryanto is a Board Director of the Pacific Basin Consortium on Environment and Health, Vice president of the Indonesian Clean Emission Partnerships, Head Division of Environmental Health Sciences Development and Working Group Chairman for Climate Change and Human Health at the Indonesian Public Health Association, and a member of numerous international and national professional societies and organizations, including the International Society of Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE), Clean Air Initiative in Asian Cities (CAI), Indonesian Environmental Health Association, and Indonesian Epidemiological Network (IEN). Most recently, he has actively contributed to the studies and development of the policy and action plan of health adaptation to climate change
