Fajar Nugraha, S.Si., M.K.M.

Fajar Nugraha is a lecturer and spatial epidemiologist with over 10 years of experience in public health research, specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial health data analysis, and environmental epidemiology. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Natural Sciences and a Master of Public Health from Universitas Indonesia.

At the Research Center for Climate Change (RCCC-UI), Fajar has contributed to various interdisciplinary studies exploring the health effects of air pollution and climate change. His notable works include studies on the association of ambient PM2.5 with respiratory diseases among children, and an ecological analysis of air pollution and COVID-19 mortality in Greater Jakarta. He has also been involved in projects addressing the health implications of transportation emissions, as well as low-carbon policy development in collaboration with Bappenas, WRI, and international partners.

In addition to his research activities, Fajar has lectured on GIS and environmental health across several institutions and frequently serves as a speaker in national capacity-building programs. He is recognized for his technical expertise in spatial epidemiology and continues to support data-driven policy development in environmental and public health planning.
